MX5Link

MX5Link is an innovative fusion of software and hardware Project that integrates directly with your Mazda MX5, powered by a Raspberry Pi and ESP32. By connecting to the car’s CANBus, it reads essential engine data, including RPM and other critical sensors, while also providing a platform for deeper customization. MX5Link ensures that you can easily configure and control the connected modules from the Raspberry Pi to the ESP32 on each module and adjust a wide range of settings.

Whether it’s syncing your music with neon lights, adjusting the speed of your blinkers, or fine-tuning additional features, MX5Link puts you in full control of your car’s technology.

Additionally, MX5Link allows you to log performance data from your driving sessions on the circuit, giving you access to real-time information and analytics such as speed, RPM, and other critical metrics. These logs enable you to track your performance and review the data to improve your driving experience. The modules connect over Wi-Fi, giving you the freedom to manage everything from your phone, a friend's device, or your computer in software that is made for MX5Link.

MX5Link is currently designed for the Mazda MX5 NA and NB models, with potential future compatibility for the NC and ND models, not sure yet about it yet, we will see in the future! 😉

My mission is to modernize the NA and NB while preserving a touch of retro charm because we never want to forget where it all began.
